Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Ensure excellent food and beverage service and guest satisfaction.
  • Supervise daily operations and staff performance.
  • Maintain cleanliness, stock levels, and equipment functionality.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally.
  • Accurately process payments and reconcile end-of-shift cash and financial transactions.
  • Prepare rosters, inventory orders, and event preparation.
  • Take reservations, greet guests and assist in taking orders.
  • Uphold and comply with food safety and health regulations.
  • Contribute to team training, meetings, and a positive work environment.
  • Knowledge of coffee and beverages and be able to produce with quality and speed.
  • Understanding of all the equipment behind the bar and how it all works correctly and ensure that it is maintained at all times.
  • Knowledge, understanding and creation of the restaurants food and beverage menu.
  • Serve customers promptly in a friendly manner.
  • Attend to all customer queries courteously and efficiently.
  • Follow NZ Health and Safety regulations and Food Control Plan.
  • Attend and host staff meetings.

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Restaurant Manager to ensure smooth front-of-house operations and exceptional guest service. This role involves overseeing daily service, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation, managing POS and cash handling, and supporting staff performance. You'll assist with rostering, inventory control, guest satisfaction, and staff training, while upholding company standards.

The successful applicant will have at least 2 years of relevant work experience. These positions are full time and we guarantee a minimum of 30 hours per week. We run a 7 day roster - weekend and evening work will be required.

Key Responsibilities:
