Sushi 678 Ltd is seeking an Assistant Manager to support daily restaurant operations, lead the team, and ensure outstanding customer service and food safety. You will help with rosters, training, and maintaining high standards in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

The role requires strong leadership, reliable attendance, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while upholding company policies and health and safety procedures. Competitive hourly rates apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years hospitality experience or Level 4 qualification.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual and responsible.
• Able to supervise and motivate a team.
• Capable of fast-paced decision making.
• Customer-focused with professional attitude.
• Well organized with multitasking ability.
• Knowledge of food safety and health regulations.
• Experience with stock control and ordering.

Responsabilités

• Assist with day-to-day restaurant operations.
• Supervise staff during shifts.
• Train and guide staff in daily tasks.
• Maintain high customer service standards.
• Organize rosters and allocate duties.
• Monitor food quality, presentation and portions.
• Ensure food safety and health & safety procedures.
• Handle stock control, ordering, deliveries.
• Manage inventory and minimise waste.
• Resolve customer enquiries and complaints professionally.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures and cash handling.
• Maintain clean, safe restaurant environment.
• Support Manager with admin tasks.
• Lead team in Manager's absence.
• Ensure policies and procedures are followed.
