Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Senior E-commerce Analyst to drive growth through deep insights into customer behavior, sales performance, and marketing effectiveness for a fully remote role.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in a quantitative field, 5+ years in data analysis (preferably e-commerce/retail), and strong skills in SQL, Python or R, plus Tableau/Power BI and Google Analytics. Excellent communication in a remote setting is essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a quantitative field.
• 5+ years of data analysis experience, preferably in e-commerce/retail.
• Proficient in SQL, Python or R, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
• Expertise in Google Analytics and web analytics.
• Strong skills in A/B testing, statistical modeling, and predictive analytics.
• Excellent ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences remotely.

Responsibilities

• Analyze e-commerce sales data, website traffic, and customer behavior to identify trends.
• Develop and maintain dashboards to track KPIs (sales, conversion, CLV).
• Analyze marketing campaign performance across channels.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize website and marketing strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and implement analytics solutions.
• Stay updated on industry trends in e-commerce analytics and data science.
