Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis in a fully remote role based in South Africa. You will build and maintain complex models, analyze variances, and deliver insightful reports to senior leadership.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years FP&A experience, strong Excel (VBA) skills, and proficiency with Tableau or Power BI.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
5+ years of FP&A or related experience.
Advanced Excel (including VBA) and financial modeling skills.
Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI).
Strong analytical and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain complex financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and valuation.
Analyze performance against budget and prior periods to identify trends and variances.
Prepare detailed financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for senior management.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support strategic planning.
Collaborate with business unit leaders to understand financial drivers and provide actionable insights.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
