Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Remote Retail Analyst to join our client’s team, working entirely remotely from South Africa. You will analyze sales performance, customer behavior and market trends to provide actionable insights that inform business strategy.

You will collaborate with marketing, operations and merchandising to identify opportunities for growth, develop reports and dashboards, and present findings to stakeholders in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Retail Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, and BI tools).
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote work environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sales data, inventory levels, and market trends to identify insights.
• Develop reports and dashboards to track retail performance metrics and KPIs.
• Provide recommendations to improve sales strategies, merchandising, and customer engagement.
