Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Lead Information Security Architect to join a fully remote team in a challenging, enterprise-wide role. You will design, implement and govern secure architectures across cloud environments, lead distributed teams, and drive the security roadmap in alignment with business goals and risk appetite. Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive information security experience with focus on security architecture.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• Deep expertise in designing secure cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with identity and access management, network security, data protection, cryptography.
• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills; proven remote leadership.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure enterprise-level security architectures.
• Define security requirements and standards for all technology projects and initiatives.
• Lead the evaluation and selection of security technologies and solutions.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive security architecture documentation.
• Provide expert guidance and mentorship to security engineering and operations teams.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align security strategy with business goals.
• Oversee threat modeling and risk assessments for new and existing systems.
