Job summary

Xplor Technologies is seeking a Product Security Engineering Lead to advance product security across key verticals. You will collaborate with Engineering leadership to implement security designs, threat modeling, and remediation across products and roadmaps.

You will build AI-assisted security tooling, manage vulnerability lifecycle, and mentor engineers while coordinating with Cyber and Product teams, all in a fully remote NZ role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Application Security or Security Engineering.
• Experience advising engineering on security improvements and remediation.
• Experience with secure design reviews and threat modeling.
• Experience building/using SAST/DAST/EASM tooling.
• Cloud security experience (AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary product security engineer for key Xplor verticals with engineering leadership engagement.
• Lead security design reviews, threat modeling, and release readiness.
• Manage vulnerability triage, remediation, and reporting across products.
• Develop AI-assisted security tooling and security knowledge bases.
• Provide mentorship to engineers on security practices and incident readiness.
