Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Healthcare IT to lead critical implementations remotely, delivering EMR/EHR upgrades and digital health initiatives across the organization.

You will own the full lifecycle from planning and budgeting to deployment, coordinate clinical and IT teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and communicate with stakeholders.

A successful candidate has 7+ years in project management, PMP/CPHIMS/ITIL advantageous, and proven remote-team leadership.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on healthcare IT.
• Proven track record delivering complex healthcare IT projects on time and within budget.
• Deep understanding of healthcare workflows, clinical systems, and data security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex Healthcare IT projects from initiation to deployment.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, budgets, and schedules.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including clinical staff and external vendors.
• Ensure compliance with POPIA, HIPAA, and data privacy standards.
• Oversee risk assessment and mitigation throughout the lifecycle.
