Placements24 seeks a highly experienced Remote Industrial Engineer to lead global process standardization, harmonizing manufacturing and operations across sites, driving quality, efficiency and compliance. The role emphasizes analysis of existing processes, identifying best practices, and developing standardized methodologies usable worldwide.

You will lead virtual cross-functional teams, apply lean and Six Sigma, and manage international projects from anywhere.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive industrial engineering experience with international operations.
• Expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and change management.
• Strong virtual/global project management and remote collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current manufacturing and operational processes across global sites to identify variations and areas for standardization.
• Develop comprehensive standardized process documentation, guidelines, and best practices.
• Lead virtual cross-functional teams to implement standardized processes, ensuring buy-in and successful adoption.
• Utilize data analytics and performance metrics to measure the impact of standardization initiatives.
• Design and deploy training programs and resources to support the implementation of standardized processes globally.
• Collaborate with site-level engineers and management to address challenges and tailor solutions where necessary.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes that impact global manufacturing operations.
• Develop business cases and ROI analyses for investments in process improvements and standardization technologies.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across all global operational teams.
• Ensure standardized processes comply with all relevant international quality, safety, and environmental regulations.
