Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Flight Dispatcher to join our client’s team, working remotely from New Zealand. You will plan and oversee flight operations, ensure legal and safe execution, and coordinate with pilots, air traffic control, and maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• Certified Flight Dispatcher or equivalent certification.
• Experience in flight planning and dispatch operations.
• Strong knowledge of meteorology, navigation, aircraft systems, and aviation regulations.
• Excellent decision-making under pressure and calm demeanor.
• Proficiency with flight planning software, weather analysis tools, and communication systems.
• Strong communication and coordination with flight crews and operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare flight schedules considering weather and regulations.
• Issue flight plans and clearances to crews with complete operational details.
• Monitor flight progress and provide weather and NOTAM updates.
• Decide on diversions or cancellations in adverse situations.
• Maintain logs and records of dispatch activities and communications.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations to ensure smooth execution.
