Avnet is seeking a self-motivated, customer-focused professional to help customers explore and adopt AMD FPGA, Adaptive SoC, and embedded x86 technologies. You will collaborate with account managers, AMD specialists, and customers to understand goals, evaluate solutions, and advance projects in a remote-enabled role with occasional site visits.

Formación

• Degree in Electronics Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• Interest in AMD FPGA, Adaptive SoC, and embedded x86 products.
• Self-directed, initiative-driven approach to work.
• Willingness to travel with a valid driver’s licence.

Responsabilidades

• Learn customers' products and goals, connect them with AMD technologies and specialist support.
• Build relationships with customers via visits, technical discussions, demos, and follow-ups.

• Continue learning about AMD products and share knowledge with customers and team.
• Use agentic AI tools to plan and carry out multi-step work and verify claims against sources.

About the role

Join Avnet's team to help customers explore and adopt AMD FPGA, Adaptive SoC, and embedded x86 technologies. You will work with customers, account managers, and AMD specialists to understand product ideas, evaluate solutions, and move projects forward.

This is a work-from-home role. You must be comfortable working autonomously while also co-creating solutions online with peers.

We welcome recent graduates with a strong passion for technology and AI as well as experienced applicants. What matters most is your curiosity, initiative, ability to learn, and enthusiasm for helping customers solve problems.

What you'll do

• Learn about customers' products and goals, then help connect them with suitable AMD technologies and specialist support.
• Build relationships with new and existing customers through visits, technical discussions, demonstrations, and follow-up.
• Take ownership of customer questions and opportunities, coordinating with colleagues and AMD specialists when needed.
• Prepare clear presentations, demonstrations, training material, and written updates.
• Keep learning about AMD products and share useful knowledge with customers and the team.
• Use agentic AI tools to help plan and carry out multi-step work, such as research, preparing materials, organizing follow-up, and exploring technical questions. Review the results, check important claims against reliable sources, and protect customer and company information.

What you bring

• A valid driver's licence and the ability to travel to customer sites.
• A degree in Electronics Engineering, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• A strong interest in technology and the motivation to learn about AMD FPGA and embedded x86 products.
• A self-directed approach: you identify the next step and follow through on commitments.
• The ability and willingness to use agentic AI tools productively and responsibly, while applying your own judgment to their output.
• Clear communication skills and an interest in working directly with customers.

Good to have

• Experience in any of the following areas would be valuable , recent Graduates who have strong technical passion will be considered and are welcome to apply.
• FPGA and Adaptive SoC design: AMD development tools such as Vivado or Vitis; RTL, embedded processing, system integration, or high-speed interfaces.
• Embedded processor software: C/C++, embedded Linux, boot and board bring-up, kernel or device-driver work, or processor-based system integration.
• Embedded x86 platforms: AMD Ryzen Embedded or EPYC Embedded, BIOS/UEFI, operating system integration, interfaces, graphics, networking, or power and thermal considerations.
• Experience with Yocto or Buildroot; Linux kernel and drivers; PCIe, Ethernet, USB, or DDR; Python or Tcl scripting; oscilloscopes or other debug tools; edge AI or machine learning; and designs using microcontrollers or AMD SoCs would also be useful. We do not expect one candidate to cover every area.
