Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Endpoint Security Specialist to join a remote-first security team. You will deploy, manage, and optimize endpoint protection across Windows, macOS, and Linux, handling EDR, antivirus, DLP, and MDM in a distributed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or Info Security or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years in endpoint security management.
• Hands-on with EDR solutions (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Defender for Endpoint).
• Proficient with antivirus, host-based firewalls, and DLP.
• Knowledge of Windows, macOS, Linux security configurations.
• Experience with MDM is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and collaboration for remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and manage endpoint security solutions including EDR, antivirus, firewalls, and DLP.
• Monitor endpoint security alerts and respond to security incidents impacting devices.
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans of endpoints.
• Develop and implement policies for endpoint security management.
• Investigate and analyze malware and endpoint threats.
• Provide technical support and guidance to users on endpoint security practices.
• Stay current with endpoint threats and security technologies.
• Automate security tasks and reporting where possible.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure coverage.
• Contribute to security strategy and incident response planning.
