Placements24 is partnering with a fast-growing cybersecurity firm to hire a Lead Security Engineer for their fully remote team. You will design, implement, and maintain security across infrastructure and applications while leading a team of security professionals.

The role requires deep expertise in network, cloud, and application security, with strong leadership and a proactive threat-mitigation posture. You will collaborate with engineering to embed security into development and guide the

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 7+ years of cybersecurity experience.
• Experience leading security teams and projects.
• Strong knowledge of network security, application security, cloud security, and cryptography.
• Familiar with security assessment tools (Nessus, Burp Suite, Metasploit).
• Understanding of ISO 27001 and NIST.
• Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls.
• Relevant certifications like CISSP, OSCP, CISM desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design and management of security strategies and solutions.
• Oversee security architecture reviews and secure coding guidance.
• Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Manage security incident response, including investigation, containment, and remediation.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, and coordinate remediation.
• Lead and mentor a team of security engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Stay current with the latest security threats, trends, and technologies, and proactively adapt security measures.
• Collaborate with teams to embed security across the full lifecycle.
