Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Early Intervention Specialist for a pediatric telehealth program. You will support infants and young children with developmental delays via virtual sessions, assessments, and family coaching.

Qualifications include a Master’s in a relevant field and at least 5 years’ experience, preferably remote. The role is fully remote with flexible scheduling and a focus on improving developmental outcomes for children and families in South Africa.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years in early intervention, remote preferred.
• Deep knowledge of child development and delays.
• Excellent virtual communication and counseling skills.
• Proficient with telehealth platforms and EMR systems.
• Independent, time-conscious, well-organized.
• Must be based in South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Conduct remote developmental assessments for infants and young children.
• Develop and implement individualized Early Intervention Plans (IEPs).
• Deliver virtual therapy sessions and guide parents on home interventions.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary remote team of therapists and educators.
• Educate families on child development, conditions, and resources.
• Maintain confidential client records in line with privacy regulations.
• Stay updated on best practices in early intervention and pediatric development.
• Provide support and resources to families to foster development.
