Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Early Intervention Specialist to support infants and toddlers with developmental delays in Queenstown, NZ. You will assess needs, develop individualized plans, and empower families to promote optimal child development in home or community settings.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based practices, provide direct therapy, and coach families on strategies to support progress.

Qualifications

  • Relevant degree in a field such as Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, Psychology, or Early Childhood Special Education.
  • Proven experience in early intervention services for infants and toddlers.
  • Strong knowledge of child development and developmental disabilities.
  • Excellent assessment, intervention, and family coaching skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

  • Conduct comprehensive developmental assessments for infants and toddlers.
  • Develop and implement individualized early intervention plans tailored to each child's needs.
