Programmed, based in Auckland, is seeking an experienced Corporate Relationship Manager to lead a portfolio of corporate clients and deliver tailored banking solutions. This Auckland-based role requires 5 days onsite and close collaboration with internal teams across credit, treasury, and trade finance.

You will build and grow relationships, conduct financial analyses, and drive business development while meeting regulatory and risk requirements in a dynamic banking environment.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Commercial Banking Relationship Management or 3+ years in Corporate Banking Relationship Management.

An excellent opportunity has become available with a well-established international banking organisation based in Auckland. We are seeking an experienced Corporate Relationship Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of corporate clients while delivering tailored banking solutions and maintaining strong customer relationships.

This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of commercial and corporate clients while collaborating with internal stakeholders across credit, treasury, and trade finance functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business strategies to grow market presence and achieve business objectives.
• Manage and expand a portfolio of corporate clients, identifying opportunities to deepen existing relationships and win new business.
• Provide value-added banking solutions with a strong customer-focused approach.
• Conduct financial modelling, credit analysis, and prepare credit applications.
• Work closely with Credit, Treasury, Trade Finance and other internal teams to deliver comprehensive client solutions.
• Monitor portfolio performance and identify potential risks, implementing appropriate remediation strategies where required.
• Ensure customer and transaction information is maintained accurately and in a timely manner.
• Build and maintain strong professional networks through participation in industry and business events.
• Adhere to all regulatory, compliance, and risk management requirements.

About You

• University degree or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Commercial Banking Relationship Management or 3+ years in Corporate Banking Relationship Management within a banking environment.
• Proven track record of achieving business development and revenue targets.
• Strong financial analysis, credit assessment and financial modelling skills.
• Excellent relationship management, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and regulated banking environment.
