Job summary

Clutha District Council is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Planner to join our Planning Team in the Regulatory Services Department. The role involves reviewing, processing and monitoring resource consent applications, and assisting with building consent and land information memorandum matters related to planning.

You will monitor compliance and respond to planning queries, foster relationships with Council and community stakeholders, and contribute to growth-minded planning services for

Qualifications

• Degree in planning or resource management with relevant tertiary qualification.
• Ability to interpret, analyse and present planning information clearly to customers and stakeholders.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when required.
• Commitment to providing high-quality customer service in response to inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Review, process and monitor resource consent applications.
