Job summary

Clutha District Council in Balclutha is seeking a detail‑orientated Planner to join the Planning Team in the Regulatory Services Department. The role involves reviewing, processing and monitoring resource consent applications, and assisting with building consent and land information memorandum processes related to planning matters.

Qualifications

• Has a Level 7 Degree in planning/resource management or other relevant tertiary qualification.
• Can interpret, analyse and present information to explain technical information clearly to customers and stakeholders.
• Enjoys working as part of a team and capable of working independently.
• Is committed to providing high-quality customer service in response to enquires.
