Job summary

Heritage Lifecare invites applications for a Registered Nurse to join Karina Lifecare in Palmerston North on a casual basis. You will lead a team of Caregivers, develop care plans, carry out clinical assessments, and build relationships with residents, families and GPs while supporting the Clinical Services and Care Home Managers.

A current APC and at least 3 years' aged care experience are required. We offer a warm, supportive environment with development opportunities and a competitive pay

About Our Role:

• Karina Lifecare, located in beautiful Palmerston North
• Casual (as and when required, not on a regular basis)
• AM, PM, Night and Weekend shifts

As a Registered Nurse, you will use your skills to:

• Lead and develop a team of dedicated Caregivers to provide a high-level of quality care
• Develop and monitor care plans
• Carry out clinical assessments
• Form a lasting relationship with residents, families and GP's
• Support the Clinical Services and Care Home Managers

Your Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience as a Registered Nurse, either in New Zealand or abroad
• Hold a current APC
• Experience in aged care required - at least 3 years
• Good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• A genuine love for helping people, with a friendly and positive attitude.
• Have a good team spirit with empathy and drive to make a difference in the lives of others
• A passion for continuous improvement, with a sound understanding of the importance of health and safety procedures.
