Job summary

Heritage Lifecare is seeking a Registered Nurse for Ellerslie Gardens Lifecare in Auckland. You will lead a team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care in a warm setting and develop robust care plans to support residents and families.

The role requires APC current registration, excellent communication, and a genuine passion for improving health and safety alongside a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Registered Nurse, either in New Zealand or abroad.
• Hold a current APC.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• A genuine love for helping people, with a friendly and positive attitude.
• Have a good team spirit with empathy and drive to make a difference in the lives of others.
• A passion for continuous improvement, with a sound understanding of the importance of health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of dedicated Caregivers to provide a high-level of quality care.
• Develop and monitor care plans.
• Carry out clinical assessments.
• Form a lasting relationship with residents, families and GP’s.
• Support the Clinical Services and Care Home Managers.

About Our Role:

• Ellerslie Gardens Lifecare, located in popular Auckland
• Permanent Full-time (32 hours or more per week)
• AM, PM, Nights and Weekend shifts

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our residents are cared for to the highest standard with kindness and patience, in a warm and caring atmosphere.

As a Registered Nurse, you will use your skills to:
