Job summary

Browns Bay Medical Centre is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join a large general practice team in Browns Bay. This full-time, 40-hour-per-week role is a 6-month fixed-term maternity cover starting October 2026, with potential for extension based on performance and practice needs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Browns Bay Medical Centre is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our busy general practice team.

Starting in October 2026, this is a full-time, 6-month fixed-term position covering maternity leave, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. For the right person, we're happy to negotiate days and there may also be potential for a longer-term opportunity within the practice.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

• An experienced Registered Nurse with a current New Zealand practising certificate
• A current authorised/certified vaccinator

• Confident working in a busy, fast-paced general practice environment
• Friendly, professional and patient-focused
• Organised and able to manage competing priorities
• A strong team player with a positive and proactive approach

Previous experience working within general practice or primary healthcare would be highly regarded.
