Job summary

Waihi Health Centre is looking for a Casual Registered Nurse to join our friendly, highly skilled team. This role offers flexibility and variety, with shifts between 8.00am and 5.00pm and the ability to pick up short-notice shifts across any day.

To succeed you should have experience in Practice Nursing, be flexible and able to work independently while supporting the team, and hold NZ practising certificate (desirable). Immunisation and smear-taker certificates are desirable but not essential.

Are you an experienced Practice Nurse looking for some flexibility and variety in your working week?

Waihi Health Centre is looking for a Casual Registered Nurse to join our friendly, highly skilled team.

We’re looking for someone who is:

Do you have what we are looking for?

• A current New Zealand practicing certificate with prior experience in a medical centre (desirable)

Experience with Primary Care (preferred)

• Your practice aligns with the principles of The Treaty of Waitangi.
• Postgraduate nursing qualifications (or if you are working towards one) and/or specialisation is highly desirable; such as travel or occupational health, prescribing or long-term conditions
• Willing to continually learnand improve
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and able to build strong rapport with team members.
• You will ideally hold current CPR certificate
• Immunisation and smear taker certificates is desirable but not essential
