Presbyterian Support Southland invites an experienced Registered Nurse to join Peacehaven Village for a permanently night-shift role. You will provide clinical leadership and person-centred care in a 24/7 aged care setting, including resident assessments, care planning and ongoing evaluation of outcomes.

This night role offers 48 hours per fortnight, with shifts Wed, Thu and Sun nights from 11.00 pm to 7.00 am. A NZ RN APC and 24/7 experience are essential; new graduates are not suitable.

Qualifikationen

• Current New Zealand Registered Nurse Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
• Experience as a Registered Nurse in a 24/7 healthcare environment.
• Sound clinical assessment, care planning, documentation and decision-making.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with residents, whānau and care team.
• Passion for aged care and person-centred care.

Join our dedicated team at Peacehaven Village and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. As an experienced Registered Nurse, you'll provide clinical leadership and compassionate, person-centred care in our supportive aged care environment.

This permanent night-shift position offers 48 hours per fortnight, working Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday nights from 11.00 pm to 7.00 am.

Previous Registered Nurse experience in a 24/7 healthcare environment is essential. This role is not suitable for new graduates.

• Proven experience as a Registered Nurse in a 24/7 healthcare environment
• Sound clinical assessment, care planning, documentation, and decision‑making skills
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with residents, whānau, and the wider care team
• A genuine passion for aged care and a commitment to person‑centred care, dignity, and respect
• Provide high‑quality clinical care, including resident assessments, care planning, and ongoing evaluation of outcomes
• Lead, support, and delegate to Enrolled Nurses and Health Care Assistants to ensure safe and effective care delivery
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with professional, legislative, and organisational standards
• Build strong relationships with residents, whānau, and the multidisciplinary team to deliver person‑centred care
• Contribute to quality improvement, safe clinical practice and the ongoing development of our services.
