Job summary

Presbyterian Support Central, Enliven and Family Works is seeking a NZ Registered Nurse to provide Rest Home and Hospital level care at Huntleigh Home in Wellington. The role includes a 64-hour fortnight roster with PM and Night shifts, weekends and allowances.

You will join an Enliven team focused on compassionate, person-centred care for residents. Applicants should hold an Annual Practising Certificate, with 2 years’ aged care or complex health experience preferred.

Qualifications

• NZ Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practising Certificate.
• Preferably with 2 years’ RN experience in aged care or with adults with complex health needs.
• Ability to lead and guide a team of Health Care Assistants.
• InterRAI experience an advantage (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Provide Rest Home and Hospital Level of Care on a rotating PM and Night shifts schedule.
• Work as part of an Enliven team delivering high-quality care to residents.
• Receive weekend and nightshift allowances and overtime rates.

Mō To Tūranga - About The Role

Huntleigh Home provides Rest Home and Hospital Level of Care - this role is working 64 hours per fortnight on a rotating roster working PM and Night shifts including weekends.

You will work as part of an Enliven team in a peer-supported environment, where everyone wants to deliver great quality care to our residents and ensure they have a positive experience whilst living in our Homes. We provide weekend and nightshift allowances and overtime rates so you will be recognised and compensated for the flexibility you can bring with you as we appreciate every team member that can support our Homes to be a great place to live and work.

As well as a passion for the wellbeing of older people, you will be enthusiastic but patient and well organised with great interpersonal skills. You will share our values of empathy, compassion, and respect, and operate with a person-centred approach and high care standards.

Whether you are spending time with staff or residents, it's all about the way we communicate with each other and how we get the job done that counts towards making the difference to everyone's day.

We are looking for someone you can offer the following:

• NZ Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practising Certificate
• Preferably with 2 years’ RN experience, within aged care or with adults with complex health needs
• Confidence leading and guiding a team of Health Care Assistants
• Able to work independently if required (sole‑charge experience helpful)
• InterRAI experience an advantage (training provided)
