Placements24 in Queenstown is seeking a proactive Public Relations Executive to lead outreach and shape the company's public image. You will craft narratives, manage media relationships, and secure coverage to advance brand initiatives.

You will develop and execute PR strategies, monitor outcomes, and collaborate with marketing to ensure consistent messaging. This contract role offers autonomy and the chance to influence regional communications strategy.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in public relations, media relations, or a similar role.
• Excellent writing, editing, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with media professionals.
• Experience in crafting press releases and pitching stories successfully.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and their role in PR.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Understanding of Queenstown and Eastern Cape media landscapes is highly desirable.
• Previous experience with contract roles is a plus.
