Placements24 seeks an experienced Public Relations Manager to lead the company''s PR strategy and media relations in Queenstown. You will develop and implement comprehensive PR plans, manage media inquiries, and shape public messaging across stakeholders.

A leadership role, you will mentor junior staff and drive high-impact campaigns. The ideal candidate holds a Master''s in PR/Communications and 7+ years of progressive PR experience, with strong crisis management and strategic planning skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive PR experience with proven success.
• Experience in media relations, crisis management, and strategic communications planning.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of the South African Media & PR landscape.
• Experience in Eastern Cape PR initiatives is advantageous.

• Develop and execute strategic public relations plans to achieve brand visibility and positive public perception.
• Manage all media relations activities, including pitching stories, responding to inquiries, and crisis communications.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with local, regional, and national media contacts.
