Job summary

GRIP (Generating Real Industry Pathways) seeks a Regional Pathways Advisor to deliver gateway training across north and west Auckland. You will mentor learners, coordinate with schools and employers, and support learners with attendance and wellbeing.

Role involves community engagement in cafés, stores, and schools, with travel across the region. Applicants should have relevant hospitality/retail education qualifications and a NZ driver’s licence.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills with learners and employers.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and keep records up to date.
• Experience in service sector settings such as hospitality or retail.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and manage workplace-based Gateway training programmes.
• Mentor learners and provide pastoral support and wellbeing checks.
• Conduct assessments and provide constructive feedback.
• Build and maintain regional school and employer networks.
• Coordinate with verifiers and arrange on-site learner visits.
