GRIP - Generating Real Industry Pathways in Auckland is seeking a Regional Pathways Advisor to deliver Gateway programmes across north and west Auckland. You’ll engage schools, employers and ākonga, visiting cafés, stores, and school careers offices to support learning on the ground.

You’ll manage workplace-based training, mentor learners, and build a network of regional partners while complying with the Education Code of Practice 2021 and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

Qualifikationen

• Relevant qualification in hospitality, retail, education, training or a related field, or an Adult Education qualification, or US 4098, or a teaching qualification.
• Work experience in the service sector — specifically retail or hospitality.
• Experience in secondary or adult education.
• A clean, full New Zealand driver’s licence.
• The right to work in New Zealand.
• Ability to pass a police vet check.

Aufgaben

• Delivering and managing workplace‑based Gateway training programmes.
• Supporting ākonga through their learning journey — mentoring, pastoral care, attendance and wellbeing.
• Conducting and marking assessments, and giving feedback that moves learners forward.
• Building and maintaining your regional school and employer network.
• Working with employers so verifiers are trained and supported, learners are visited on site, and training happens when it should.
• Keeping accurate records of learner progress and outcomes.
