Job summary

Lifeskills, part of Quality Education Services Limited, is seeking a dynamic Career Pathways Navigator in Auckland. The role focuses on connecting with people, building relationships and creating opportunities across EPS, Tupu Aotearoa and Financial Capability programmes.

You will work directly with participants to build confidence, develop employment skills and support sustainable work, whether in workshops, one-on-one coaching, or employer outreach.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong facilitation or presentation skills for engaging group sessions.
• Proactive employer engagement, including outreach and relationship building.
• Experience helping people into employment, education or training.
• Ability to motivate and inspire participants to achieve goals.
• Good organisational skills with initiative and goal orientation.
• Experience working with diverse communities; culturally responsive approach.
• Must hold a full New Zealand Driver Licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging workshops and group sessions to motivate participants.
• Coach and mentor participants to build confidence and employment readiness.
• Connect with local employers; identify new opportunities.
• Build relationships with employers, community organisations and stakeholders.
• Match participants with suitable employment and support recruitment.
• Provide ongoing support to sustain employment outcomes.
• Help participants develop financial confidence through budgeting and planning.
• Maintain accurate participant records and progress toward targets.
