Placements24 is seeking a Regional Logistics Operations Manager to lead regional logistics across warehousing, transport and inventory control. You will drive efficiency, coach a dedicated team and partner with 3PLs to meet service goals.

The role requires a strong background in WMS/TMS and ERP systems and a track record of cost-saving improvements. The position is hybrid with on-site presence at distribution centers and offices, plus planning and reporting duties that can be managed remotely.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Admin or related field.
• 7+ years in logistics and supply chain management; minimum 3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience managing regional logistics, warehousing and transportation.
• Strong inventory management understanding.
• Leadership, communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with WMS/TMS and ERP integration.
• Budget management and cost-control experience.

About the Role

Our client, a leading national retailer with a robust supply chain network, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Logistics Operations Manager for their Eastern Cape operations. This pivotal role will be responsible for the efficient management of all logistics functions within the region, including warehousing, transportation, and inventory control. Requirements

• Proven experience managing regional logistics operations, including warehousing and transportation.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with WMS and TMS systems, as well as ERP integration.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and control operational costs.
