About the Role

Our client, a rapidly expanding national logistics provider, is seeking a highly accomplished and strategic Regional Logistics Manager to oversee operations within the Queenstown, Eastern Cape, ZA region. This leadership role will be responsible for managing all aspects of the regional logistics network, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, ensuring maximum efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service quality. The successful candidate will drive operational excellence, lead a diverse team, and implement innovative solutions to meet the evolving demands of the market. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional logistics strategies aligned with overall company objectives.
• Oversee daily operations of transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities within the assigned region.
• Manage and mentor a team of logistics professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational efficiency and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A Master's degree is advantageous.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, with at least 4 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Proven experience in managing complex logistics operations across a region.
• Strong understanding of transportation management, warehousing operations, and inventory control.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong financial acumen and budget management experience.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel within the region and potentially to other company locations as needed, fitting a hybrid operational model in Queenstown, Eastern Cape, ZA.
