About the Role

Our client, a significant player in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, is looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Logistics Coordinator to manage supply chain operations in the Queenstown, Eastern Cape region. This hybrid role requires individuals who can effectively coordinate the movement of goods, manage inventory, and liaise with transportation providers, balancing remote administrative tasks with on-site operational oversight. The Logistics Coordinator will play a vital role in ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products to our clients' customers. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, a good understanding of logistics principles, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with warehouse staff, transport partners, and internal departments to streamline logistics processes. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the transportation of goods, ensuring timely deliveries and efficient routing.
• Manage inventory levels and oversee warehouse operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Liaise with shipping carriers, third-party logistics providers, and internal stakeholders.
• Process shipping orders, prepare documentation, and track shipments from origin to destination.
• Optimize logistics processes to reduce costs and improve delivery times.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock takes to ensure accuracy.
• Resolve any logistical issues or delays that may arise during transit.
• Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities, including shipments, inventory, and costs.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar role, preferably within the FMCG sector.
• Good understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and inventory control principles.
• Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
• Familiarity with transportation regulations and documentation requirements.

• Based in or willing to commute to Queenstown , Eastern Cape.
