Job summary

Excel Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Waikato is seeking a qualified Refrigeration & HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team in the Waikato region.

You will service and maintain air conditioning and refrigeration systems across commercial and industrial sites, work closely with colleagues and apprentices, and bring practical problem solving to every job.

We provide top-of-the-range tools, a company-supplied vehicle, ongoing training and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Experience with all types and sizes of air conditioning and refrigeration.
• NZQA L4 Refrigeration and Air Conditioning qualification or NZ recognised equivalent.
• Current EST practising Licence - advantageous.
• Approved Refrigerant Fillers Licence - advantageous.
• Full unrestricted NZ driver licence.
• Proven experience in the HVAC & R industry.
• Eligible to work in New Zealand.

Refrigeration & HVAC Service Technician role available with a progressive and supportive, ever-growing company - Excel Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Waikato!

YOU WILL NEED

• Experience with all types and sizes of air conditioning and refrigeration
• NZQA L4 Refrigeration and Air Conditioning qualification or New Zealand recognised equivalent, advantageous but not essential
• Current Electrical Service Technician (EST) practising Licence - advantageous but not essential
• Approved Refrigerant Fillers Licence - advantageous but not essential
• A full unrestricted driver licence
• Proven experience in the HVAC & R industry
• To be currently living and able to work in New Zealand
