Job summary

Millennium Hotels and Resorts, Greymouth, invites applications for a varied permanent Front Office role spanning reservations and reception. You will check guests in and out, assign rooms, promote hotel facilities and manage cashiering with professionalism.

No experience required, English fluency is essential, and familiarity with Opera is an advantage. You must be available for both am and pm shifts, and 32 hours per week.

This is a varied permanent position within the Front Office Team split between reservations and reception. In this role you will check guests in an out, allocate rooms, promote hotel facilities and handle daily cashiering. Resolving billing queries and guest complaints is also part of the job, so we are looking for someone with poise who can remain professional under pressure. Do you need experience? If you have worked in a hotel front desk role before and know Opera, that would be a distinct advantage. However, we will welcome your application if you have other reception experience or customer service experience and believe you have what it takes to create an outstanding guest moment. It's important you are fluent in English and love interacting with customers as much as you enjoy efficiently managing their experience. We will look after you with secure work 32 hours per week. You must be available to work both am and pm shifts.
