Vector in Auckland is seeking an Electricity Operations Controller to monitor and manage the real-time network, ensuring a safe, reliable supply for customers. You will work in a state-of-the-art control room to support the grid's ongoing resilience and performance.

In this role you will handle fault restoration, outages authorisation, and contingency planning while providing technical support. A rostered 7:00–7:00 shift (2 days/2 nights, 4 on/4 off) is required after training.

Competenze

• Technical experience in electricity distribution networks or in an industrial/commercial setting.
• Control room experience, and/or existing experience with the Vector network.
• Experience using SCADA/ADMS systems.
• Commitment to high health and safety standards.

Mansioni

• Monitor and control the real-time operation of the electricity network to ensure safe, reliable supply.
• Initiate fault restoration and emergency response when required.
• Authorise and control field outages and operational activities.
• Provide technical and operational support and contribute to system performance reporting.
