Job summary

Placements24 is partnering with a community-focused ECD center in Queenstown to recruit an ECD Facilitator. You will plan and deliver age-appropriate activities, observe progress, and communicate with parents to support each child's development.

The role emphasizes a safe, nurturing classroom, teamwork with staff, adherence to health and safety guidelines, and ongoing professional development to enhance early childhood practice.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Early Childhood Development (NQF4/5 or Diploma)
• Experience working with young children in an ECD setting
• Strong knowledge of child development milestones and safety protocols

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver age-appropriate learning activities for young children.
• Create a safe, stimulating and nurturing classroom environment.
• Observe and record children's progress and share feedback with parents/guardians.
• Ensure health, safety and well-being of all children under your care.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents and colleagues.
• Implement ECD curriculum and center policies consistently.
• Collaborate with other ECD practitioners on program development.
