Fluid Recruitment is seeking a seasoned Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established commercial construction company in Central Otago, NZ. You will take ownership of projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring commercial oversight and value for money.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years' New Zealand experience, strong contract knowledge and a proactive, solutions-focused approach. You will collaborate with Project Managers and site teams on medium-scale commercial developments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Quantity Surveying experience in New Zealand
• Strong background in commercial construction
• Experience working on medium-scale construction projects
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement and cost management
• Excellent commercial acumen and attention to detail
• Strong communication and relationship-management skills

Our client is a well-established commercial construction company delivering a diverse portfolio of medium-scale commercial projects throughout Central Otago. With a strong pipeline of work and an excellent reputation for quality, professionalism and client relationships, they are looking to add an experienced QS to their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercial Quantity Surveyor with 5+ years' New Zealand experience to take ownership of projects from pre-construction through to completion.

You will work closely with the Project Management and Construction teams, providing strong commercial oversight across a range of projects typically involving new builds, commercial developments, fit-outs and associated construction works.
