Job summary

Advanced Personnel Services – Auckland, North Island is recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established fish processing company, for an experienced Quality Controller to join their team. This hands-on role works on the production line to ensure product quality, food safety and regulatory compliance.

You will monitor processes, perform swab testing, and maintain accurate quality records, with early morning shifts Monday to Friday and occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality control within food processing.
• Hands-on experience in production/processing environments.
• Experience conducting swab testing.
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Physically fit for manual handling tasks.
• Willingness to work early morning shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work on the production line conducting real-time quality checks.
• Perform environmental and surface swab testing.
• Inspect raw and processed fish products for quality and freshness.
• Complete accurate documentation and quality records.
• Manual handling as required within the production environment.
