Job summary

Scientific & Technical Recruitment is seeking multiple senior Quality Assurance Officers to support dairy operations in New Zealand. Based at Mangere or Pokeno and reporting to the Plant QA Lead, you will help coordinate across quality functions and ensure safe, high-quality dairy products for customers globally.

Ideal candidates bring senior QA experience in regulated environments, strong communication skills, and willingness to work a 6-7 month temporary contract.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in food, dairy, beverage, nutraceutical, or FMCG manufacturing.
• Exposure to quality systems and regulated production environments (HACCP knowledge essential).
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and confident communication skills.
• Full work rights in NZ and availability for a 6-7 month temporary contract.

Our client is looking to bring multiple Quality Assurance Officers on board to support operations for the next 6-7 months, with roles available now. These are perfect for those looking to work hands-on, and share their senior level QA experience to help coordinate across quality functions in a team-oriented environment.

The Opportunity Based at either the Mangere or Pokeno site, and reporting to the Plant QA Lead, you'll play an essential role in supporting the company's QA systems and day-to-day operations. Your work will help ensure the delivery of safe, consistent, and top-quality dairy products to customers around the globe.

Key responsibilities will include

• Supporting daily quality systems, documents and compliance records
• Coaching and guiding operators on RMP, HACCP and OMAR requirements
• Contributing to audit readiness
• Driving consistent quality practices and a mindset of continuous improvement

About You

You'll bring an organised, solutions-focused mindset and be comfortable communicating across departments. Ideally, you'll also have:

• Strong attention to detail, time management, and confident communication skills
