Qualifications

• Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or equivalent
• Shutdown/maintenance/heavy industrial experience desired
• Strong safety mindset
• Able to work in fast-paced team
• Reliable transport

Qualified Mechanical Fitters wanted for a 7-day industrial shutdown in the Bay of Plenty.

We're looking for experienced Mechanical Fitters to join a leading engineering team for a 7-day shutdown project. This is a great opportunity to pick up a week of solid hours and competitive pay, with the potential to be considered for future shutdowns and ongoing work.

The Role

• Mechanical maintenance, repairs and installations
• Equipment strip-downs and rebuilds
• Pumps, valves, bearings and conveyor maintenance
• Working safely in a heavy industrial shutdown environment

What You’ll Need

• Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter (or equivalent industry experience)
• Previous shutdown, maintenance or heavy industrial experience
• Strong commitment to health and safety
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team
• Reliable transport
