BestStart Judea in Tauranga, Bay of Plenty, seeks an enthusiastic ECE Teacher for our toddlers team. The role is permanent, 30–35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, fostering child-led learning and strong relationships with tamariki and whānau.

You will contribute to meaningful learning experiences, apply Te Whāriki, and grow with a supportive mentoring environment and professional development.

Formación

• Holds a B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current Teacher Certification.
• Friendly, flexible, enthusiastic, and a real go-getter.

• Strong understanding of child-led curriculum, planning, and extending children’s learning.

Our three purposefully designed rooms cater to children at different ages and stages of development, creating a fun, relaxed environment where tamariki can learn, explore, and grow. We are very community-focused and we go on regular outings to our local rest home The Bayview. Through these outings, children develop skills such as empathy, love and kindness.

About the Role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Teacher to join our toddlers team. You’ll be part of a supportive team that values strong relationships, child-led learning, and creating meaningful learning experiences for tamariki.

This is a permanent position between 30-35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
