Job summary

BestStart Karaka is seeking a Qualified Teacher to join our nurturing team, caring for infants and building trusting, responsive relationships with our youngest learners.

This permanent, 40-hour-per-week role offers a supportive, collaborative culture, mentoring, and access to Whare Ako online learning while empowering you to contribute to Te Tiriti o Waitangi pedagogy.

Qualifications

• B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current Teacher Registration.
• Good understanding of child-led curriculum, planning and extending on our children's learning.
• Demonstrate good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whāriki and hold compliance in a high regard.
• A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through pedagogical practices.
• Passion and commitment for teaching and learning with a focus on delivering quality

Permanent position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
