Job summary

Franklin Smith in New Zealand is seeking multiple experienced HVAC technicians who have a good attitude towards work and great references. The successful candidates will have at least three years of full-time HVAC work experience.

The ideal candidate will assemble, install, maintain and repair industrial, commercial, and domestic air conditioning and refrigeration systems. You may travel to various NZ regions; relocation can be covered where needed.

Qualifications

• HVAC experience: at least three years of full-time HVAC work experience.
• Sound English communication skills.
• Able to pass a police check and drug test.
• Physically fit for manual labour.

Responsibilities

• Assembles, installs, maintains and repairs industrial, commercial, and domestic air conditioning and refrigeration systems and relevant equipment.
• Experience in commercial, residential, or industrial installation.
• Work unsupervised and in a team.
• Demonstrate high attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ensure all activities are conducted safely and in compliance with Franklin Smith policies and relevant legislation.
• Other duties as reasonably required within the capability of the employee’s role may also be required.
• The role may require travel to different NZ regions, including multiple locations.

• Assembles, installs, maintains and repairs industrial, commercial, and domestic air conditioning and refrigeration systems and relevant set up and equipment.
• Experience in commercial, residential, or industrial installation
• Work unsupervised and in a team

• Ensure all activities are conducted safely and in compliance with Franklin Smith policies and relevant legislation.
• Other duties as reasonably required within the capability of the employee’s role may also be required from time to time.

About the role:

• Minimum 30 hours per week
• Hourly wage ranging from $29.00 - $35.00
• Permanent role - Monday to Friday, with extra shifts available on weekends
• As part of your employment, you may be required to travel to a different region for different projects, including Auckland, Bay of Plenty, Canterbury, Gisborne, Hawkes Bay, Manawatu,Marlborough, Nelson, Northland, Otago, Southland, Taranaki, Waikato, Wellington, and West Coast.
• You will be given reasonable notice if you are required to relocate to another region. Franklin Smith will cover transportation and accommodation expenses related to the relocation.
