Job summary

Franklin Smith is seeking multiple experienced HVAC technicians with a good attitude and strong references. Successful candidates will have at least three years of full-time HVAC work experience and be able to work in commercial, residential, or industrial settings.

Role involves assembling, installing, maintaining and repairing air conditioning and refrigeration systems, working unsupervised or in a team, with a minimum of 30 hours per week and hourly wages from NZD 29 to NZD 35.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of full-time HVAC experience.
• Experience in commercial, residential, or industrial installation.
• Able to pass police check and drug test.
• Physically fit and able to do manual labour.
• Sound English communication skills.

• Experience in commercial, residential, or industrial installation
• Work unsupervised and in a team
• Demonstrate high attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Ensure all activities are conducted safely and in compliance with Franklin Smith policies and relevant legislation.
• Other duties as reasonably required within the capability of the employee’s role may also be required from time to time.

About the role:

• Minimum 30 hours per week
• Hourly wage ranging from $29.00 - $35.00
• Permanent role - Monday to Friday, with extra shifts available on weekends
• As part of your employment, you may be required to travel to a different region for different projects, including Auckland, Bay of Plenty, Canterbury, Gisborne, Hawkes Bay, Manawatu,Marlborough, Nelson, Northland, Otago, Southland, Taranaki, Waikato, Wellington, and West Coast.
• You will be given reasonable notice if you are required to relocate to another region. Franklin Smith will cover transportation and accommodation expenses related to the relocation.
