Job summary

Franklin Smith is recruiting multiple HVAC technicians for pre-analytical specimen reception-related roles in NZ. The positions are permanent, 30+ hours weekly, Monday to Friday with weekend shifts.

You may travel to various regions across New Zealand for different projects, with relocation coverage for transportation and accommodation. You will need at least three years of full-time HVAC experience, your own toolkit, reliable references, and the ability to pass a police check and drug test.

About you

• Assembles, installs, maintains and repairs industrial, commercial, and domestic air conditioning and refrigeration systems and relevant set up and equipment.
• Experience in commercial, residential, or industrial installation.
• Work unsupervised and in a team.
• Demonstrate high attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ensure all activities are conducted safely and in compliance with Franklin Smith policies and relevant legislation.
• Other duties as reasonably required within the capability of the employee’s role may also be required from time to time.

• Sound English communication skills.

About the role

• Minimum 30 hours per week.
• Hourly wage ranging from $29.00 - $35.00.
• Permanent role - Monday to Friday, with extra shifts available on weekends.
• As part of your employment, you may be required to travel to a different region for different projects, including Auckland, Bay of Plenty, Canterbury, Gisborne, Hawkes Bay, Manawatu,Marlborough, Nelson, Northland, Otago, Southland, Taranaki, Waikato, Wellington, and West Coast.
• You will be given reasonable notice if you are required to relocate to another region. Franklin Smith will cover transportation and accommodation expenses related to the relocation.

Looking for multiple experienced HVAC techs who have a good attitude towards work and great references. The successful candidates will have at least three years of full-time HVAC work experience.
