Job summary

Beca Limited in Auckland is seeking an experienced software test engineer to join our Beca Digital team. You will deliver testing and automation outcomes within a cross-functional scrum team, building Playwright-based test automation suites in Azure DevOps and supporting CI/CD pipelines.

You’ll champion quality, share knowledge, and evolve test engineering practices as we deliver cloud-based platforms for diverse clients.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software testing experience with a foundation in test automation.
• Strong knowledge of functional and non-functional testing, test planning, reporting, and manual exploratory testing.
• Proven experience with Playwright and Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Deliver testing and automation outcomes in a cross-functional scrum team.
• Build test automation suites using Playwright and Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate to raise levels of test automation and embed quality practices.
• Contribute to evolving test engineering practices and shift-left quality.
