Job summary

The Ministry of Justice - New Zealand seeks an Advisor in Operations Support, National Service Delivery for a 9-month fixed-term opportunity. You will provide timely, accurate, tailored advice to business managers and frontline teams, and help develop operational policies and guidance.

You will support service improvement initiatives, manage information releases to Ministers and Parliament, and coordinate responses with other units to ensure statutory compliance and timely delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, accurate, comprehensive and tailored advice to NSD managers and frontline operations.
• Develop operational policies, guidelines, initiatives and drive improvements.
• Resolve issues and support service delivery and business improvement through a service design methodology.
• Support, and occasionally lead, service improvement initiatives.
• Release information to Ministers and Parliament, and respond to parliamentary and stakeholder requests.
• Draft responses to Ministerial correspondence and Written Parliamentary Questions, ensuring statutory alignment.
