Job summary

LinkPeople is seeking a Property Procurement Specialist to support our residential property portfolio across Auckland and Hamilton. You will build strong relationships with landlords, developers and government agencies to secure affordable, healthy homes that are fit-for-purpose.

You will lead property onboarding, negotiate leases and develop long-term housing solutions that help individuals and whānau thrive. 3+ years in the property sector and knowledge of relevant regulations are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience in the property sector, including property management or development.
• Thorough understanding of the Property Law Act, Residential Tenancies Act, and Healthy Homes regulations.
• Excellent documentation skills for leases and tenancy agreements.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel across New Zealand.

This is a fixed-term opportunity through to 4 April 2027, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We offer flexibility around start and finish times to suit your needs. Based in Auckland or Hamilton, you’ll also work across the region as required.

We’re looking for a Property Procurement Specialist who will support LinkPeople’s residential property portfolio. In this role, you’ll build strong relationships with landlords, developers, government agencies and other key partners to secure affordable, healthy homes that are fit-for-purpose. You’ll lead property onboarding, negotiate leases and develop long-term housing solutions that support individuals and whānau to thrive.

If you bring property sector experience, strong relationship-building skills and a strategic mindset, this is an opportunity to make a real difference in our communities.

You will have:

• At least 3 years’ experience in the property sector, including property management and/or property development.
• Thorough understanding of the Property Law Act, Residential Tenancies Act, and Healthy Homes regulations
• Exceptional attention to detail, particularly when preparing and managing documentation such as leases and tenancy agreements.
• Confident communicator and relationship builder, quickly establishing credibility.
• Excellent data entry and computer skills, with strong attention to accuracy.
• Familiarity with Zavanti is preferred.
• Knowledge of and commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles and working with Māori
• Willingness and ability to travel across New Zealand as required.
