Job summary

Savills Asset Management, Christchurch office, is seeking a Property & Facilities Manager to lead day-to-day management of a commercial property portfolio. This hands-on role blends property administration, facilities management, financial oversight, and stakeholder engagement to keep assets compliant, well maintained and performing efficiently.

You’ll bring proven property or facilities management experience, strong organisation and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Previous property or facilities management experience.
• Experience across Lease administration, preparing budgets, facilities management and compliance.
• Strong tenant and stakeholder focus, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
• Proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem solving and decision making.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage with a range of stakeholders.
• Energetic, motivated and driven, with a positive attitude and commitment to achieving results.

Responsibilities

• Managing lease renewals, extensions, rent reviews, and variations.
• Liaising with landlords, tenants, and solicitors to ensure lease compliance.
• Preparing and reconciling annual OPEX budgets.
• Processing contractor invoices and monitoring expenditure against budget.
• Overseeing day‑to‑day building maintenance and repairs.
• Managing contractors, service agreements, and SLA performance.
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and Building legislation.
• Arrears monitoring and management.
• Monitoring and reporting property risks, incidents, and compliance requirements.
