Job summary

ConneXu Whanau is seeking an experienced property and asset leader to head our Property & Fleet team in Auckland. You will drive the 12-month maintenance programme, plan asset renewals, and use cost data to shape practical, forward-looking plans across our housing and vehicle portfolio.

You'll visit properties, work with landlords and contractors, and guide a team to deliver clear, affordable outcomes. Applicants must have NZ work rights.

Qualifications

• Substantial property, facilities or physical asset management experience.
• Practical experience with buildings, maintenance, contractors and capital works.
• Sound financial and commercial judgement.
• Strong planning and problem-solving skills.
• Confidence using asset and financial information to support decisions.
• Experience leading people.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Property & Fleet team and shape how we manage our properties and vehicles.
• Develop and execute a 12-month maintenance programme and plan asset renewals.
• Analyse costs and options to inform practical decisions.
• Engage with landlords, contractors and internal teams to implement plans.
